Upgrade Downloading and Installing Program Upgrades If you subscribe to the yearly maintenance service, updates to program will be available to be downloaded from the internet. To download and install the latest upgrade, follow the instructions below. You can print out this page before you begin so you'll have the instructions to refer to as you complete each step. This upgrade is only available if you are currently using Direct Track version 4.0.0. To check your current version, open Direct Track and then select the About option under the Help menu. Direct Track Version 4.0.1 - Click here to see what has changed in this version Downloading the upgrade 1. Click on the link below to begin downloading the upgrade. 2. After you click on the link, you should receive an option to Run/Open or Save the file. You must select Save.
If you don't receive an option that will let you save, try right-clicking on the link and then selecting Save Target As from the right-click menu.
3. Save the file (DirectTrackUpgradeVersion401.exe) to a location on your computer. The easiest place to save this is to your My Documents folder. To do this, click on your My Documents folder in the Save In drop down list. Make sure the file name is DirectTrackUpgradeVersion401.exe and then click Save. 4. Depending on the speed of your connection, the download process may take a few minutes. After it is completed, proceed with installing the upgrade.
Installing the upgrade 1. Make sure Direct Track is closed. 2. Go to the My Documents folder on your computer. 2. Double-click on the DirectTrackUpgradeVersion401.exe file you downloaded. 3. When the installation is complete, you can get back into Direct Track. |
